It’s true, I do love chocolate milk.
My name is Tanya—art director by day, wannabe housewife by night (minus the cleaning part of course). I love to cook, bake, and watch reality tv (the kind that follows people with real deal jobs like ghost hunting, crab fishing, bounty hunting, etc). I hope this blog encourages you to try new things, and enjoy the mishaps or miracles that come of it. Enjoy!

Spicy Coconut Shrimp Stew
This is a take on a Brazilian Moqueca. It’s a stew made with tomatoes and coconut milk, as well as traditional dende or palm oil. It has some type of seafood as well—usually fish, shrimp or even crab. I had … Continue reading
Eli’s Asian Salmon and Green Beans with Sesame Dressing
Someone had requested that I make some salmon dishes since she had a freezer full of the stuff. I never really cook salmon—was never a huge fan. I LOVE it raw, but cooked…eh…not my favorite. I feel like it’s always … Continue reading

Risotto with Scallops and Tomatoes
I knew I wanted seafood tonight since my non-seafood loving sister wouldn’t be joining us for dinner. I was thinking about shrimp—my favorite shrimp scampi recipe. My husband and I stop at the supermarket on the way home to pick … Continue reading
